We need your help!

In deciding what classes to add!

1) What would you like to see added to the schedule? Pilates, Yoga, bootcamp?

2) What time would you like these classes to be? Lunchtime is very popular, but not everyone can make these classes.

How are your resolutions?

We’re nearing the end of January, the most highly anticipated “kick start” your weightloss month, and i’m wondering just how people are keeping up with their new years resolutions.

I tried an experiment this year. I was really good through the holidays this year (only gaining 1lb) *clap* *clap* *clap*, but I gave myself the latter half of January OFF, when everyone else was busting their butts, I was resting mine.

Last year, I gained 10lbs during the holidays and another 10 after. I wasn’t doing it again this year considering it took 6 months to get it off and then keep it off.

My new years resolution begins in a week, and I wonder how everyone else is doing.

Confessions of a failed reality star loser? HUH?!

I was lucky enough to catch a crap-umentary of that guy who was the biggest loser like 5 years ago and then gained the weight back. Needless to say, I have mixed feelings about this. I remember watching the biggest loser and the producers giving all this drama around it…all thought while watching this guy try and explain WHY he gained the weight back and blaming the biggest loser for it…is that I’d really just like to tell him to put the fork down and look at himself in the mirror.

I mean really…what did you expect entering a REALITY show. They love you for one season…then they drop you. Next! This “Reality” show (which isn’t really reality) is really focused on $$$ and RATINGS—NOW THATS REALITY. They don’t care about the contestants, all they care about is endorsements, sponsors, viewers, advertising, and overall stardom. The contestants keep getting fatter because the producers only want the fattest people (because of….you guessed…all of the above).

My answer to seeing this guy gain all the weight back (which he’s in denial about anyway) is….typical. I’m not surprised. I see it happen everyday. We are all human. The only thing we can blame about our failures (and success) is OURSELVES. No one else.

With that said (and i’ll keep this brief) is that this overweight man is no where near a gym or eating plan. He’s decided just to take up boxing.

Eventually he’s gonna need to hit a gym get on that treadmill and lift a few weights because of all the boxers I’ve met—non are obese and all of them do more than just box for their workout.
