Super recipes for your Superbowl party!

Superbowl parties don’t have to be full of high fat foods (although, they are delish). Personal Trainers at Club Sweat offer simple substitutions to make your favorite dishes low cal and very tasty.

Serve home-made pita crisps with low-fat dips that use fat-free or reduced-fat sour cream, yogurt or cream cheese instead of mayo.

Have a large plate of cut veggies to go with the dips, too: include different colored sweet peppers as well as carrots and celery.

Provide a variety of lean meats and low-fat cheeses, with whole-grain breads and wraps plus fat-free or low-fat mayos and dressings. Create a buffet of fresh veggies to add to the sandwich bar.

Bake a batch of low-fat brownies or fruit salad.

For the drinkers, keep plenty of low-calorie mixers and sodas. Craft your own low-calorie drink for the occasion.
